PowerRide provides a free 12-month warranty for verified manufacturing defects in covered original components. Approved warranty claims are handled free of charge. This warranty is in addition to your statutory consumer rights and does not replace or restrict them.

Potentially covered defects
Covered where a verified manufacturing defect exists and the applicable product terms support it: frame, motor, controller, display, charger, wiring harness, light system, folding mechanism, rack or mudguard defects, battery faults beyond ordinary degradation, brake-system defects that are not normal wear, and other original-component manufacturing defects.
Coverage is not automatic simply because a component appears in this list. Every claim depends on evidence, product-specific terms, appropriate inspection, reasonable use, maintenance requirements and statutory-rights consideration.
What approved warranty claims cost
A valid approved warranty claim must not charge the customer for warranty review, approved replacement parts, approved return transport, approved supplier or authorised-technician assessment, or redelivery following the accepted claim.
Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not cover faults caused by accidental damage, collision, impact, dropping the product, misuse, abuse, vandalism, theft, external fire, incorrect storage, unauthorised modification, derestriction, speed modification, wiring alteration, unapproved battery, charger or controller, incorrect assembly, insufficient maintenance, use beyond verified water-resistance limits, cosmetic marks after delivery, normal deterioration through age or use, or ordinary battery-capacity degradation.
Normal wear items are excluded for ordinary wear, including brake pads, normally worn brake rotors, tyres, inner tubes, chains, cassettes, freewheels, chainrings, brake cables, gear cables, handlebar grips, pedals and consumable bearings where deterioration results from use or insufficient maintenance.
Important examples
Worn brake pads are normally maintenance. A defective brake calliper may still be reviewed. A worn tyre is normally excluded. A tyre supplied with a manufacturing defect may still qualify. Ordinary battery degradation is excluded. A sudden verified battery failure may qualify.
Warranty resolutions
PowerRide is a retailer rather than a general repair workshop. Available resolutions include troubleshooting or setup guidance, an approved replacement component, supplier assessment, authorised technician assessment, free authorised return, replacement product, refund, price reduction or another remedy where required.
When a claim is not covered
This issue does not appear to be covered by the PowerRide warranty because it has been assessed as [reason]. PowerRide does not operate a general servicing or repair workshop. You may wish to contact a suitably qualified local electric-bike technician.
